Interior & Exterior Painting in Hudson & Bergen County, NJ

Paint is the cheapest part of a paint job. What you are actually paying for is preparation: patching, sanding, caulking, priming the right substrate with the right primer, and masking well enough that the lines are sharp without touch-ups. A crew that skips prep can underbid anyone, and the work looks identical for about six months.

We paint single rooms for homeowners and we paint entire buildings — corridors, stairwells, lobbies, unit turnovers — for condo associations, co-ops and property managers. Same crew, same prep standard either way.

Freshly painted bedroom with clean ceiling cut lines and white window casing and baseboard by KJ Commercial in Hudson County NJ

What we paint

Interior repaints

Walls, ceilings, trim, doors and closets, with furniture protected and floors covered every single day, not just on day one.

Surface repair and prep

Skim coating, patching, sanding, caulking, and priming — including stain-blocking primer over water damage and smoke so the problem does not bleed back through.

Common areas and corridors

Hallways, stairwells, lobbies and amenity spaces, scheduled around resident traffic and building hours so we are not blocking the only exit at 8am.

Unit turnovers

Fast, clean turnovers between tenants on a schedule property managers can actually plan around.

Exterior painting

Siding, trim, doors, railings and stucco, with pressure washing, scraping and priming before any finish coat goes on.

Specialty coatings

Epoxy and floor coatings for garages, utility rooms and back-of-house areas.

Common questions

Questions we get asked.

Do you paint occupied condo hallways?

Regularly. We phase the work so residents always have a clear path and an accessible exit, keep the odor down with low-VOC products, and work within whatever hours the building sets. We coordinate the schedule with the managing agent and post notices in advance.

How long before I can move furniture back?

Most modern latex paints are dry to the touch in an hour and safe for light contact the next day, but they keep curing for two to three weeks. We put furniture back and reinstall hardware ourselves at the end of the job, and we will tell you which surfaces to stay off of and for how long.

Do you provide the paint or do I?

Either way. If we supply it, the brand and product line are written into the estimate so you can see exactly what is going on your walls rather than 'premium paint' with no name attached.

Can you match an existing color?

Yes. We can match from a chip, a sample you cut out, or a leftover can. For common-area work we keep the specification on file so future touch-ups actually match.
