Bathroom Remodel in Union City, NJ
A complete bathroom gut and rebuild. The room was taken back to studs, re-waterproofed, and finished in a teal porcelain that runs floor to ceiling in the shower so the eye reads one continuous surface instead of a band of tile stopping halfway up a painted wall.

What the job involved
Shower and waterproofing
New pan and waterproofing membrane before a single tile went on. This is the part nobody sees and the part that decides whether the bathroom is still sound in ten years.
Wall tile
Teal porcelain carried full height in the wet area, with the layout set out so cut tiles land in the corners rather than beside the fixtures.
Frameless glass
Measured and ordered after the tile was set, not before, so the panel sits true against a real wall instead of a drawing of one.
Floating vanity
Wall-hung cabinet with the plumbing set into the wall, which keeps the floor clear and makes a small room read larger.
Lighting and ventilation
Recessed fixtures on the ceiling plane and an exhaust fan ducted to the outside — not into the joist bay, which is where a lot of failed bathrooms start.
